How I got here

Senior software engineer and architecture consultant — the longer version of the resume you already skimmed.

Origin

About pages usually list achievements. That isn't enough. Here's how I became the software engineer whose resume you're reading.

I wasn't a cliché confident kid who excelled from day one. I worked through tough stretches and gradually sculpted myself into someone who lives in the tech — a senior software engineer and architecture consultant who wants to work with people solving real problems.

Why hire me

I'm honest even when it doesn't benefit me. That means transparency with clients and hiring managers: what the system lacks, what I can actually contribute, and how efficient the path is.

If it's a day's job, I'll say so. If a project is more complicated than it looks, I'll say that too. Pricing stays fair to the work — not a discount pitch. Why am I this honest? That's how I'm coded. The ones who created me left out the conditioning statements for lying to cross the finish line.

How I work

I get called in when a system is fragile, migrating, or already on fire — a startup's codebase after a founder exit, a national bank's reporting pipeline, an e-commerce platform under real transaction load. I've shipped web applications, automation tools, backend systems, and software that solves real business problems.

I optimize what's slow, secure what's exposed, mentor the team that inherits it — as an engineer, tech lead, or architecture consultant — and move on to the next thing that needs stabilizing. Reach out about a role, a contract engagement, or advisory. Even if I'm not the right fit to join the build, I can still give sound advice.
